Howdy! in this tutorial you’ll learn how to make a simple cartoon animation like the one hereunder:
Ok lets’ start!
I. First, you have to draw every part alone as shown below:
Each part should be a Movie clip and are all distributed to layers.
II. Now you have to work in each movie clip alone.
For instance, in the eye movie clip, I made a simple animation to simulate the eyes action.
Then I have duplicated the eye for the movement to be identical.
This is how the eye looks like, if it has not a geometric shape, you can copy and paste the eye itself to make it the mask so it fits well:
P.S: this is not the Terminator!
Then, the eye cover folder animation up and down:

I couldn’t understand some parts of this article all flash tutorial about cartoon animation - FARAWAY, but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.
